@pedronqneves Warriors won 3 finals in a 5 year span. Steph won 2 MVP’s, KD got 2 FMVP, Steph and Klay 3 point champs, Dray DPOY, Iggy FMVP, Steve Kerr coach of the year.. If you’re a goldenstate fan you couldn’t ask for much more from that organization. Personally I’ve never seen anything like it. If Klay comes back next year and GS moves some pieces its going to be a shootout in the West.
Look at this… @QuantumKat@pedronqneves and y’all think I’m a Steph hater… I said y’all would be good. It’s the constant Lebron bashing or over rating from certain fans that makes me take shots at him.
@hollygrovemikey I meant hate even from their own fans too; the product that put on the court last game was inexcusable. It's the same shit as game 1, outplayed them most of the game except 1 quarter which was enough to lose. Also Smart and Rob's status for tonight isn't clear yet which makes it even worse. I just want us to be healthy the rest of the series, we just look so much better. I never wanna see Theis out there ever again.
Having slept on that awful loss, I have come to the opinion that you only sign Harden if the other domino is upgrading Tobi to a better wing fit in the starting 5. Harris came on late, but he disappeared again when it mattered. And Harden is clearly a facilitator first now; he can’t be the guy who gives you a consistent 25 ppg at his age.
I need to see Morey prove his mettle as king dealmaker this summer. Not sure what the play is — Beal? Lavine? — but it has to happen. If not, don’t sign Harden just to watch the benchless quartet of Embiid, Maxey, Harden and Tobi win enough games to finish in the 3-4-5 seed every year just to bow out in the second round over and over.
Looks like the Warriors gonna be that team this year that gets lucky breaks with opposing team injuries. Dodged Murray and MPJ already and now barely beating Griz without Ja. We all know this should be a 2-2 series.
“It is extraordinarily likely that Harden will opt in to his $47.4 million salary for next season and then will negotiate with the Sixers on what sort of deal it's going to be beyond the 2022-23 season”
Gets 47 mil next year and hopefully takes 25-28 mil for the 4 years after that
@Manulous yeah you aren’t wrong, but we don’t really have much choice as a franchise.
I like the attitude our players have so far (which is they want to win and have been competitive) and I think Giddey and SGA are gonna be a big part of that. We just gotta be patient with those two (more so with Giddey).
Sure it sucks to lose and it won’t be an easy turnaround. However, I believe it can be turned around quicker if the players have the right attitude and WANT to win.
Btw I see both of us deleted our comments so it’s all good 😂
People complaining about Vogel's lineups as if he has a choice to play bums. Lakers have no depth, Russ can't be trusted at all, nevermind in the playoffs and AD/Lebron bodies been taking a beating the past few years. They ain't winning shit.
@pedronqneves Giannis has sustained greatness over a stretch of at least 4-5 years now. He owns 2 of the MVP’s, 1 Dpoy and a FMVP in a 5 year stretch. I’m not just basing it off one season. But that one season definitely confirmed it. And just watching basketball he really does seem to be at higher level than everyone else. No one with his scoring ability plays defense the way that he does.
@holygrail22 thats whatsup. I’ve only been betting for about 2 months now. Right now I’m on a streak. Been winning every day, but I’m placing nearly 20 bets per day. Yesterday I made 17 bets using only $250 total… 5 of my bets hit or at least gave me a cash out option. Ended up making $1280 yesterday and still have the St. Peter’s bet rolling into today and more.
I think the Devin Booker MVP case is legit. He’s the best scorer on the best team in the league and is doing things that haven’t been done since it’s knocked away and stolen by Holiday, Phoenix has to foul… AND ANTETOKOUNMPO THROWS IT DOWN
@yosemite_ham lol I’ve said countless times I don’t care about peoples personal rankings or opinions.
None of this is ever really a debate of who’s right or wrong more just a discussion. If he’s Russell Westbrick the stat padder to somebody cool I’m just looking for more than a YouTube video as evidence.
Most people only watched the Thunder in 2012 finals and when they blew the 3-1 lead. I watched KD at Texas rookie year with Sonics then move to OKC and Russ at UCLA until now so my perspective is completely different.
The most 3PT attempts Larry ever averaged in a season was 3.1. If he played today, he'd be slinging them shits left and right while also working dudes on the block like prime LeBron. Man would be 30+ for sure, maybe closer to 35
Yep, and unlike alotta current stars, he doesn't need the ball either
Bro my friend just sent me a TikTok with this video and said this gym looks familiar. 😂 This is my favorite gym ever, it’s in Oklahoma and I played in a tournament there this year. Played the best I have ever played. Averaged 5 threes a game, hit 7 in a game. There is some crazy shooting that goes on in their lol
@pandemicp now , he just don’t care , I like the way they focus on what is really important
But looks risky to me to play their worse Basketball of the season so close to the playoffs .
He don’t change rotation he is testing moody as a starter , don’t know
We will have to live in the playoffs with a bench full of inexperience players , but that was their decision and I can’t complain right now
@kobe6rings i don’t agree man
Lakers gave up defensive players that Vogel loves for a terrible roster construction .
Russ don’t fit with Bron and AD , they don’t have athletic legs , Vogel needs to choose between some form of spacing or no D .
On the top of that Their best players ( besides Lebron ) are playing like trash
So what are we thinking about the first results here?
IMO, kinda wanted someone else not named LeBron to be a captain. It wouldn't even need to be Steph, just someone that isn't LBJ. He's literally been a captain every year since the NBA started doing the ASG like this. Can't someone else take a crack at it for once?
Fr, us NBA fans need to Come together and vote Kawhi as captain, the draft would be hilarious 😭
Me and my family just got to a court when we saw the news, whole park just shut down while everyone tried to figure out what happened. When it was confirmed you could see grown men crying out there, it was one of the most surreal moments of my life.
@nddot so what is Russ for you ? Lakers barely have a positive record with Lebron and AD too lol
Ok , let’s clash a team that is wining and is a top record in the league
And excuse a team that was expected to be a favorite to win it all
Every team can lose in this league, but let’s not compare a negative record in LA to a team that is a top record in the all league lol
@zackdesenfants fair, but at least that was a winning move. While it lasted. That 4 game win streak correlated not only with games against shitty teams but also games where he started Monk and sometimes Stan too.
