@bru64 true, but I would rather drop $70 to support a new IP than to put any of it towards anything 2K related. Buying games after price drops hurts the chances at sequels and if the game deserves it...I want a follow up.
@manulous I have both and you can't really go wrong with either.
Sony has the leg up on exclusives for sure, so if you care about those, stick with it.
I like the possibilities with the PS5 controller but I'm not a huge fan of it ergonomically; I MUCH prefer the XBX controllers, especially the Series X controllers (and the XBX Pro model, but it's pricey).
Game Pass is def a big benefit, and if you play anything on PC it's nice to be able to download the games and play them on there too, especially if they're cross-play and you can pick it up on either.
Chrono Trigger easily my favorite game ever, with Final Fantasy VI a close second. They were so ahead of their times when they came out.
Metal Gear Solid blew my mind when I played it for the first time. The story and play mechanics were just so innovative.
Goldeneye then Halo were the GOAT local multiplayer games back then. So many nights spent playing with buddies back in the days.
I also have to list Mortal Kombat II. Easily spent the most quarters in my life playing this game. Remember getting into a big fight at a 7-11 with some guy who got mad at me for doing a Friendship at the end of a game because he thought it was insulting. The irony of it all.
