Domantas Sabonis (back) was not on this planet in his return to action on Saturday, triple-doubling with 26 points, 19 rebounds, 14 assists, a steal and two triples in 30 minutes.
He had his triple-double by halftime and sat at 22-11-11 before the third even started - he became the first player in the last 25 seasons to reach a 20-point triple-double by the halfway mark. We’ve learned this season that Sabonis’ ceiling is ridiculous, but he reached heights in this one that not even his biggest fans could have expected. The Pacers missed him in a big way, and he led them to an extremely dominant 152-95 win as well. Welcome back, Domas. -

Absolutely elite talent. Not better than Jokic or Embiid of course, but IMO will grow into a very much respected and relevant player over his career (i.e. not just someone who fades into irrelevancy, like, say, Stoudemire)
