Is “The Medium” As Good As Advertised? (Xbox Exclusive)

For those who don’t know, The Medium is one of the Xbox Series X/S (or Windows 10) Exclusives released earlier this year.
Apparently the game has been having...A LOT of positive reviews on the Xbox Store and IGN with quite a bit of folks saying, “It’s story is great!”
For those who have played this game, how good is this game really? I’m in the mood to try a few this summer so I’m curious about this one.

It's Resident Evil without any shooting. Played it on PC, didn't finish it. Pretty meh
