Can’t wait for the Pacers break up Turbonis, and let Sabonis run the show next season next to LeVert

Domantis Sabonis scored 21 points (8-for-15 FG) and added 20 rebounds, nine assists, four blocks and three steals to lead Indiana to a 111-102 win over Cleveland Monday night.
Sabonis has got to be one of the most underrated players in the NBA as he routinely flirts with triple doubles and tonight came just one assist shy of a 20-20-10 game for Indiana. For a Pacers team that has been ravaged by injuries to key players, and has dealt with turmoil from the top on down, what Sabonis has done to keep this team in position to make the postseason is nothing short of remarkable.

@knezius I don’t think it’s underrated. What he is doing is special, I think it’s smaller market team syndrome, if he was in a bigger market he would get the recognition.

                  Sabonis collected 16 points (7-9 FG, 2-2 3Pt), 15 assists and 13 rebounds in a 103-94 victory over the 76ers on Tuesday.
Spin: Sabonis' dominant stretch continued, as he picked up his third triple-double in his last seven games. Over that span, the center has averaged 24.6 points (on an impressive 68.0 percent shooting from the field and 50.0 percent shooting from three), 15.0 rebounds and 11.0 assists per game. Sabonis joins Russell Westbrook as the only two players to record multiple triple-doubles and also average a triple-double over that stretch.

@zackdesenfants That’s interesting, but Nuggets were much better than the Pacers currently are. Still an interesting stat

@clarke_griffin doesn’t help the Pacers have multiple injuries to key players. You are correct though

Kind of looking forward to the Celtics losing to the Wiz and then getting clapped by Sabonis a couple days later. 😂

Sabonis is becoming the real deal. Nice to see too, few second generation players live up to their names. I hope he is one of the ones who does.
