GOAT debates are subjective after a certain point. That's why LBJ / MJ debates get so heated.
what's easier to point out is when someone calls someone a GOAT who is obviously not - (for example, someone claiming that Dirk, Karl Malone, Shaq, etc were the overall GOAT). You know a bad take when you see it.
none of these in the list are the easy to call out type (verdict is still out on Curry since he has time left), so it's whatever

I don't agree with that take at all, but I see it almost every time there's a discussion about Timmy being the best 4 ever.

I never took the Steph over Magic shit seriously. Magic has a case as a top 5 All Time NBA Player let alone PG. So people are saying Steph is top 5? Stop.

Steph being the greatest point guard is up for debate.
2 MVP 3x champion
Magic Johnson won 5 championships in a 10 year span. He also played both sides of the ball. Steph is the best offensive guard maybe, but all around point guard no sir. He doesn’t play defense and doesn’t average many assist. He’s just a scorer. He’s also not clutch. You will see that when the Lakers eliminate him from the play in tournament with ease.

Curry is a better man defender then magic. Magic was more versatile and obviously bigger, but curry is not a liability anymore and anyone who thinks he is hasn’t watched him this year -
@pedronqneves Steph would be the better fit offensively because of his shooting ability and scoring, but I’ll still say Magic is the Goat of point guards with Steph coming in at #2. If Steph became a 2 way player or maybe got his assist up to about 7+ per season... I’d maybe take him as 1. Scoring seems to be easy in this league. Steph is averaging 31 ppg, but so is Beal... and their are other players within 1 to 2 points. It’s not really that impressive because their are too many players that can score 50 points in this league
