This dude will forever be the voice of basketball in my mind. Absolute legend. Should be in the Hall of Fame. I always hear his YYYES!!! When I shoot trash into a can.
He made some absolutely horrific basketball watchable and did something you rarely see from a play by play man, he made his color man better. He was great at his job, knew when to shut up, knew when to talk it up, knew when to get hype, knew when to be solemn.
I'm in complete shambles man.
This feels worse than when the Sixers blew Game 7...
If Tom Mcginnis and Merrell Reese retire I'm just gonna pack up and leave town.
