In their Prime (Boogie vs Joker vs Embiid)
-
Man I not saying boogie is better but I will say I don’t think we even got to see “prime” boogie
This was my guy frfr
Injuries suck
What y’all think
-
Cousins never got to play with a good team except once with AD. I think I remember the two tearing it up before they got injured.
-
@dznasty yeah the AD - Cousins team was on a roll , a huge what if .
I am just not sure he had the temperament to be a champion, when he was healthy.
-
@bru64 I think he was a star but not a superstar
-
Boogie before injury at C = DRose before injury at PG
Could’ve been one of the best Centers of all time
-
Boogie and AD >

I hope you're not talking about Boogie

I understand the comparison injury wise with Rose, but Boogie was more like a Luka at Center than a Rose. Rose had exceptionally great athleticism where Boogie was more bully and fundamental.
IF Boogie would have had a better attitude in his earlier years....who knows what he could've accomplished before his injuries.
-
@crackabydagram strictly based on how good they were pre injury to their team not playstyle
But yeah I was a big Boogie fan on the court, just not outside of that. He was a beast
-
Prime Boogie was still a tier below Jokic and Embiid. He's more comparable to KAT imo
-
@yosemite_ham Boogie was the better defender scorer and rebounder but I’ll give Jokic passing and leadership
-
@yosemite_ham Jokic and Cousins best years are comparable. Cousins has done it longer though. If Jokic can keep this level of consistency for a few more years I'd change my mind.
-
@rodsquad idk if I agree about better scorer. Jokic's bag is deeper and he's far more efficient. The gap in EFG is pretty big. Plus Jokic is a proven winner as a #1. Boogie not so much. I still stand by he's more comparable to KAT
-
@yosemite_ham I feel you but Kat? Come on Yose lmao prime Boogie and Jokic now are Def the best comparison you can get imo
-
Demarcus Cousins for sure
-
Like in a 1v1 scenario or who is the best to build a team around?
For 1v1 I’m going Embiid>Boogie>Jokic
To build a team round Jokic>Embiid>Boogie
-
@rodsquad Boogie was great and I'm not trying to sell him short by saying imo he doesn't quite stack up to an MVP that just had one of the most dominant offensive seasons of all time lol
I think it's the "dominating on bad teams" that make me lean more toward KAT
-
@yosemite_ham KAT isn’t on anybody in the titles level in their prime let’s be real lol
-
For me it’s really close but probably
Jokic
Embiid
Boogie -
@rodsquad maybe not quite there but I think you're kind of selling KAT short lol
-
@yosemite_ham ehhh he’s a great big in regards to being able to shoot and go off on any night but he can’t hold a candle to Prime Boogie
Kat isn’t better than Embiid or Jokic either
-
Jokic
Embiid
Boogie -
The KAT comparison is actually really good. I used to be a big kings fan back in the day when Demarcus & rudy played there. For all the numbers the guy put up his play didn’t translate to wins. Granted the kings have been a shit show since like 06’.. however I might be bugging but I saw that the pels were actually better without boogie(Wins & losses)
-
@ogxsuave He was a beast, but he’s never been able to lead a team like Embid or Jokic. Both are more versatile too.
-
@ogxsuave Boogie was a, but Embiid and Jokic still a tier above him.
-
@ogxsuave Isn’t the rank these centers thread the exact same?
