2KU Community 2021 NBA Mock Draft (Round 2: Picks 6-10)

Hello everyone, here is the Google Form that has the Picks 6-10 in the NBA Draft.
Some Rules/Guidelines for this:
- You may only be able to vote once
- The Team Logo under the question belongs to the team who owns the pick (the first question you'll see has the Pistons logo, this means the Pistons have the 1st Pick)
- After the deadline is July 9th 11:59 pm EST, the results will be counted and a list will be made on July 10th (as well as a new form for picks 11-15) that has the prospects where majority of the 2KU community believes they'll be picked at.
- You are allowed to use mock drafts from draft experts online (ESPN, Twitter, and more) to use make an informed opinion on who you'll guess the pick will be.
- Whichever players gets picked for a particular pick by the deadline (see on the earlier guidelines where it says, "After the deadline..."), that will be the mock draft pick for our mock draft
- Have fun and hopefully the mock draft pick is the correct one on draft night.

The reason why its hard is because:
- We may trade down to get an extra first for 2022
- May not take Barnes (I think its likely we do at this point)
- And more

@shinostique yeah I’m leaning towards Barnes because his playmaking could really help set shai up. And obviously his elite defense.
Imagine they play him at point guard -

I think Davion Mitchell at 6, Thunder will trade down.

Update on the Picks so far for 6-10 out of 13 responses:

6th Pick is so far Scottie Barnes with 77%

7th Pick is so far Moses Moody with 39% (Davion Mitchell is a close 2nd with 2 votes behind)

8th Pick is so far Davion Mitchell but with 23% (James Bouknight is only a vote behind)

9th Pick is so far Jalen Johnson with 46% (Alperen Sengun is 3 votes behind)

10th Pick is a wild card with both Ziaire Williams and Davion Mitchell tied with 23% (Alperen Sengun and James Bouknight are tied for 2nd and are a vote behind Williams and Mitchell)
I’m sure responses will pick up here in a couple hours and y’all have 9 hours left until results are finalized

Hopefully the results I posted right above can help you out.
I would personally have Moody and Barnes gone by this top 10 imo. The rest are a wildcard.

6th Pick- Scottie Barnes (BPA imo)

7th Pick- Moses Moody (It’s either gonna be - Bouknight, Moody, or Davion Mitchell here)

9th Pick- Jalen Johnson (Hes been dropping a bit on mock drafts recently, but tbh I think the Kings will pick him anyways imo. Could also draft Sengun).

10th Pick- Davion Mitchell (This is a pick I have little confidence that the Pels are keeping, it’ll more than likely be trade bait. I feel they’ll go for more of a win now player to help out the team if they end up keeping the pick. However, Bouknight would be a much better pick for them if he falls here).

6th pick: Scottie Barnes
7th pick: davion Mitchell (I think it’s either him or bouknight
8th pick: this was a tough one, but I feel like they really need a big, so I went with Kai Jones
9th pick: Keon Johnson
10th pick: Corey kispert (the pelicans were horrible shooting last year and I think he’s the most win now player there) -

- Davion Mitchell makes sense for the Dubs if they're wanting to keep the pick and win now
- I do like the Kai Jones pick, but I haven't seen him that high on any board. But why the 8th pick is a tough one is that we're assuming that Moody won't be there. If he is, then I'll be personally surprised if they don't draft Moody (that looks like an obvious pick to me). However, if Moody is gone, honestly I have no clue who the Magic go for (could go for Kai Jones) but I'm guessing its Bouknight.
- I never considered Keon on the Kings because of Fox, Hield, and Haliburton. But honestly, the Kings will probably do a Kings pick and might surprise everyone. Imo though, I feel like Keon is a bigger project on offense than most offensively
- I actually like the Kispert idea with the Pels more than the Davion Mitchell idea.
