Do you consider the 2020 Lakers championship team to be a super team and why?
When you look at the roster compared to Milwaukee Bucks roster this year
Giannis, Middleton, Holiday, role players (Brook Lopez, PJ Tucker, Bobby Portis, Jeff Teague, Forbes, divicenzo, Pat C,)
Lakers had
Lebron, AD, role players (Rondo, Dwight, Kuzma, KCP, Javale, Caruso, JR,)I’m not saying this to say that Bucks are a super team, but they have what is closer to a Big 3 than what Lakers had. Lakers had a big 2 + supporting cast.

Nah. There’s no way I can objectively be taken seriously probably, but last years Lakers were gritty as hell. I know we bask in the Hollywood sun but we were tough as hell with guys who know their roles. Big 3’s can survive with one injured star, we would’ve been a lottery team without Bron.

, but the truth is AD never had a player like Middleton. Middleton is ridiculous… just inconsistent. It was always just AD and Jrue… in the Western Conference & both were injury prone. They weren’t a good match. -

@sg24 when healthy they have super team potential for sure. IF Aldridge hadn't been forced to retire they still could have possibly gotten past the Bucks.

@sg24 Nets by all means are a super team. They have 2 MVP’s and a top 5 point guard… and will only get better. Nets are soo good they will force more teams to create super teams to compete with them.

@508 By that definition then I’m not sure we can call the 07 Celtics (Was Ray Allen still top 15? Maybe??), Showtime Lakers (Was Worthy? Maybe??) or the Heatles (Bosh was top 15 on the Raptors, but probably not the Heat)

Bosh was top 15. Someone has to sacrifice, Love did. Harden or Kyrie will sacrifice next year if everyone is healthy

I agree, but the argument was being made a few posts ago that superteams have 3 top 15 players, which I don’t agree with.

Even tho rondo and Caldwell had great playoffs that team was def not a super team they did although have the best player in the league and another top 5 player but no it wasn’t a super team
