Another year or so, probably.
I've never really been a fan of the term "next gen" anyways.
In a couple of months, I'll have had both the PS5 and XSX for a year, and it feels even longer. For me, the new machines are already "current" gen.

it happens like 1 out of 4 games so im use to it now i think its just a 2k problem so it it happens next 2k ill send it in for repair and cop a series s for 2 weeks

@12th has never happened to me, but I have a special series X directly from Microsoft. My first series X completely broke after like 2 weeks and they gave me a new one.

@ogxsuave it took a little less than 2 weeks. I logged into my Microsoft account.. reported a problem with that device.. then you just print the shipping label and send it off. It took about 2 days for them to receive. 2 days for them to notify me that they would send another one and about another 3 days for it to come. But no progress on weekends so about 9 days total. I purchased an old Xbox from GameStop during that time.. played it and just returned it for full price when mine came in.

@ogxsuave They sent me a completely new one and wrote me an apology letter. I just looked through my pictures. It actually took 13 days from the day I sent it off for my new Xbox to come in. Only fee I paid was $9.99 shipping and I wrote fragile on the box and dropped it off at UPS

This kinda where I’m at. I stopped even trying to find a new console because I don’t feel like the upgrade is worth it at all currently. Most of the park community chose current gen this year, I have a feeling it’s gonna be the same for 2k22.

@sssnaps I was able to order a PS5 from Gamestop last Wednesday for my brother in law. He had to get a bundle, but it was games that he wanted anyway and an extra controller. Nothing crazy. Have to be a reward member though.
