Im on my 2nd day of having covid and this is like no other flu I've ever had the pain my bodies in and the sore throat is ridiculousl.

has anyone else here had covid ? and how long did it last for you ,hopefully not to long lol this is some painful shit

@lebronshairline i was out of commission for 3 days when i had it. still not 100% back and its been 4 wks now from diagnosis. i guess this is what they refer as long covid

Good evening my dudes! Bumping this thread because my wife and my 4 year old just tested positive for Covid. Wondering if anyone has experience with kids getting Covid and what it was like for you you guys. Trying not to freak out currently, haha.

@ratpug not first hand but my wife is a 1st grade teacher and multiple students have had it this year. She said they all came back into the classroom after the waiting period and just continued on like it never happened.

@ratpug me and my mum had it and the worst of it Is the first 2/3 days then the symptoms slowly fade away from what ive experienced but it varies with different people ive been told ,hope your family and yourself stays safe

I've been sick for 3 days at this point good thing I got the vaccine and it isn't that bad.

My kids have had it at at least twice that we know of and they ended up being fine.

My son is vaxxed and it honestly seems like it hits him worse (but he's also got an autoimmune disorder, so )

They actually have RSV rn, and that's been hitting them harder than COVID did. That's not to say that COVID isn't worse in general, just a funny observation.

I'm more concerned about these hepatitis cases, TBH.

My daughter was completely asymptomatic except for losing her taste and smell, which didn't come back for about a month and a half. She's totally fine now, though. No long Covid or continuing symptoms.

@ratpug my 10 month old was sick but nothing too serious imo (first time he got sick tho). one night he had croup cough so we got him in for steroids but I dnto think that's specific to covid. he seems alright now 2 weeks out. all the best!
