My Early Season Award Ladders
-
MVP
- Curry
- KD
- Jokic
KD has surprised me this season. He's dropping crazy numbers on ridiculous efficiency. Curry is Curry. Sorry Yose but I'm giving KD the nod over Joker right now because of the sheer efficiency.
ROTY
- Scottie Barnes
- Evan Mobley
- Josh Giddey
The top 2 picks aren't making my ladder YET. Jalen Green is having a major learning curve and Cade hasn't played enough games to put him over Barnes/Mobley/Giddey. Mobley has surprised me with stellar play. Scottie's defense gives him the slight edge though.
DPOY
- Draymond Green
- Myles Turner
- Matisse Thybulle
Draymond is running away with this one. His savvy veteran play is helping the warriors greatly and is making them the #1 defense they are.
6MOTY
- Patty Mills
- Carmelo Anthony
- Herro
Patty is running away with this, and melo is the only one coming close
MIP
- Miles Bridges
- Ricky Rubio
- Dejounte Murray
Miles has been the biggest surprise this year.
Bonus: Top 5 Teams- Warriors
- Suns
- Bulls
- Nets
- Heat

good lists all around.
-
I hate LeBron and the Lakers but regardless of the team's success, Melo has been playing phenomenally as a bench bum.

KD had a bad game against GSW so his FG is thrown off
-
@sssnaps not 21% worth lol Jokic still >
Plus Jokic's defense =
-
Phenomenon list can’t really argue with any of that
-
@yosemite_ham damn their ts% is almost identical. I wonder who’ll be more efficient by the end of the season

Great list.
If the Lakers can get it together and make a deep run, Melo is getting that 6MOTY award off of his name alone. People wrote him off, the redemption arc on his story is much like Dwight’s when he went to the Lakers or Rose when he went to the wolves. He’s really resurrecting his career this year.
-
@zackdesenfants @OGxSuave @12th thank you.
It was actually really easy so far. -
Good list except no Tyler herro
-
My biggest issue is Bucks can't be top 5 rn. Those mf are 6-8. If you're ranking based on the season so far (which it looks like you're doing) they gotta go
-
Not tryna be bias but shouldn’t Derrick rose be 6moty candidate too
-
Carmelo winning 6th man might be a done deal if he's stays healthy. He's never been this open in his entire career and he's barely played with Bron.

Yeah that's fair.

@Sssnaps sixers beat bulls twice, both times without our second best player
But respect for Matisse for DPOY. Numbers were off the chart before he got covid

at this point tobias harris is better than ben simmons
-
@nd13 yeah they did. They just dropped a lot of games once embiid got covid.
-
@harpyeagle72 that’s who I’m talking about lol. Tobias got covid.
I don’t even consider Simmons part of the team anymore
-

Which was expected. But of course they faced a bunch of killers once Embiid and Matisse got covid
-
@nd13 can Embiid play tomorrow
-
@gobles nope. Him and Matisse are still out
-
Good compilation but no Herro is running away with the 6man & Rubio is 30 something I don’t think he can win most improved lol
-
@kmart Rubio is averaging the most ppg of his career right now, and he averaged 8 last season. I think he has a chance

13 & 9 the year before that on same efficiency. He’s a distant 3rd to Bridges & Murray if the award is about improvement
-
-
@kmart He has been amazing this year, definitely took the next step.
-
Schroder is winning 6MOTY
