Y’all think Hansel Emanuel will be able to go pro?
-
Man i can’t lie, what this kid can do with one arm is absolutely out of this world. He got a full ride D1 scholarship from Tennessee, so he’ll have the right eyes on him…do you guys think the NBA might open up and give him a shot in the pros? If he had 2 arms, he’d probably be top 3 in the nation without question
Kid reminds me a lot of TMAC
-
Dude I mean he’s good but he has one arm
So no. He’s gonna get a feel good 2nd round pick, then end up a player dev guy or a coach in the next few years
-
@petravork that’s what i hear a lot of, that he has one arm so there’s no way…but this nigga uses one arm like it’s 2. I do feel what people are saying though, the NBA would be a bitch with the doubles, presses, etc…elite ELITE defenders. I don’t think he’ll be some crazy all star, but i feel like he could get some PT if he develops fully in college.
-
@12th
First I just want to say what this man is able to do is remarkable. He can do more with one arm than most people including myself can do with twoBut no disrespect, there’s no way he’s not a liability on defense
They would also have to negate carry’s just for him
-
@12th Much respect for him bro
Only one arm but plays amazingly! He has a big heart for sure hopefully he achieves his dreams because he deserves it.

I just couldn’t see a GM taking a guy with one arm no matter what he does in the feeders. It’s still a crazy disadvantage to have and the one thing people forget is most college players are YMCA quality scrubs compared to Brian Scalabrine level NBA vets.
Dudes a nice story but to me that’s where it ends. He should for sure get a front office gig or sideline job tho because he’s got PASSION and GRIND

I think he's probably d1 guy and that's where it ends. He's a better basketball player than 99 percent of the world though with one hand which is incredible. 2 offers from Bethune Cookman and Tennessee State which are good but maybe not giving the most exposure. Playing d1 with one hand is so ridiculous bro
-
How amazing would it be for him to go pro? Really would be cool. Unfortunately it’s just not likely. He hasn’t played anyone like what he’ll see at a pro level. Dude could definitely revive the Globetrotters or something though. He’s an unbelievable talent.
-
Been watching him the last couple years always funny when guys try to force him to one side and he still kills them.
Much respect for his game but realistically no. He’d have to do Giannis type bulking x2. And the NBA is so much faster than high school and college.
I’m not sure what level college he can actually succeed at cause it all depends on the system.

Couldn’t agree more with what Vork said. This is 100% accurate. Hansel talented enough to make the league but teams will be too scared I feel.
I would love to see this guy work for a team as player development. Would be amazing
-
Yeah i can definitely see where everyone is coming from. It would be great to see him prove everyone wrong and pull it off though.
Can you imagine the shit 2K would have to do to fit this guy into the game?
-
@12th if he makes it to the draft I could see them giving him a player just to be inclusive of people with disabilities which would be dope.
-
@pandemicp yeah, that would be a legendary ass card. They would have to scan his entire play style just to make it work
-

Not gonna be doing any driving to the left, unfortunately.
-
@thekingcartii shit he can drive on either side, but 2k would fuck that all the way up
-

Look at 2K, man.
So fucking horrendous.
-
@12th i think it's less about his offense and more about the d. Like any NBA team would exploit the shit out of the fact that he can only cover one side.
-
If he had only one hand, then maybe. But playing on-ball defense with one arm is something no NBA team would want. It's a huge liability.
Think of Shaquem Griffin in the NFL (now a free agent). Was drafted and signed, played sparingly and had some nice plays, but ended up getting waived twice and now isn't on a team.
Emanuel will get drafted but he won't have an NBA career. He can't hawk the ball with one side of his body and will be a cone.
-
Can they get him a prosthetic? Make it legal? Honestly, I'm curious.
Dude is crazy talented.

If that happens he's in for sure.

-
If Shaq can go to the nfl I don’t see why this guy can’t atlesst make the nba
-
Never mind Shaq had two arms just not two hands
-
-
This kid is good too lol I’m surprised he actually decent on defense
-

#12 a bully lmao
-
@errolzzz if he had another arm he’d be top 3 in the country, I’m sure of it. Dude would make a nasty point guard. His handles and court vision are S tier. That spin move he does is fire, he gets that off every time.

You think his elevated skills are due to him having one arm? He’s had to work 3x as hard to get this far.
-
@petravork i definitely do, but i think the kid has A1 basketball IQ too…definitely can’t teach that. He sees a lot of things developing before it happens, great court awareness, nose for the ball, super fast reflexes…a lot of unreachable intangibles. His skill was definitely honed due to his handicap but he’s got the brain for the game. That’s why i feel you on him coaching one day, he’d make an incredible teacher.
-
Imagine if this kid makes the nba and we can finally have his 2K Card 🥳
-
@luckykid Lol that wouldn't work at all. 2K isn't going to change their gameplay system to prevent one card from being able to layup/dunk/or dribble with one hand.
It's a cool story and the kid is obviously talented but he isn't making the NBA (legitimately).
-
It's one thing to ball with one arm and be good at dribbling and passing and shit. But this man out here making fools of people with those dunk's and strip's.
The globetrotters should pick him up. Not In a, oh wow haha look at the guy with one arm. More like oh shit Hansel is going for a windmill slam! Brace yourselves! kinda way.
-
@cannabiscorpse True. Outside of top-level professional competitive basketball he's must watch and would drive ticket sales for sure.
But if he has to go up against top-tier D1 on-ball defenders or even less likely, professional G-League on-ball defenders? It's just such a liability.
I won't even entertain him playing in the NBA. Nonsense take.
-
Mannnnnn this kid is the fucking man! if he will make an NBA roster i really hope so but no, unfortunately when youre playing at the HIGHEST level in the world even the worst players are fucking awesome. He would be great overseas but NBA is impossible, I hope this kid makes it love watching him play if he had 2 arms hed be best player, good thing is hes an inspiration for all the little kids out there with disabilities. But NBA unfortunately not, everyone use to shit on scalabrini but have you seen him play 1 on 1 vs people talking shit? an NBA player even the worst one is unstoppable.
-
@danali I wanna say you're wrong so bad.... Reality sucks. That be such a feel good story, but also patronizing to bench him untill victory or defeat is certain in games to put him in, if he did somehow get in, somehow.
Who knows, in 5 years time he can have a robotic hand like skynet and maybe work towards it. But that would require him to practically relearn the game.
-
@cannabiscorpse
scroll up, I made a SkyNet take earlier lol.
But I'm not trying to be an asshole (that's a lie) and the reality does suck. Especially when there's so much money on the line in the NBA.
-
-
@danali i hope Hansel makes it so you can be like…
-
@12th I give it a 0% chance. Force him left, let him get stripped, or have a professional-level rim protector meet his right at the rim.
Won't happen.
-
I'll leave this here for y'all.
-
@danali i remember that dude, and he was nowhere as NEAR as good as Hansel. Hansel averages 25 a game and is ranked. It’s the closest comparison, Emmanuel is far and away WAY better than laue. Besides, i don’t think one persons career should be the measuring stick of what someone else can achieve.
-
-
@sg24 yeah hell nah I woulda had to tell dude meet me off the hands if I was white boy
-
It’s unfair man nigga completely avoiding lactic build up in the arms
-
-
Niggas tweaking on Twitter lmao
-
-
Damn this dude got 1 arm posterizing dudes. Honest question, is he able to shoot the ball?
