Let's say Jokic gets 20 triple doubles per season (completely doable for him). In 7 seasons he'll be at 200 and only 33 years old. Considering I think he can play well into his late 30's with his style of play he easily has a shot at the record

Points, Steals, Rebounds, and Assists have always been in the game. 3 PT shooting has not and especially not to the level of Curry
Give it 5 years or so the league will be filled with Curry clones getting closer and closer to that record

No one that’s currently in the league has a shot at curry’s record. Not even close, but with the way things have been heading in the last decade I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a ridiculous shooter that eventually breaks steph

A nigga has to do 3 things INCLUDING SHOOTING at an elite level to pass Westbrook
There are PLENTY of players that are less than 500 3’s from getting curry, and most are active
The next person on the list for Westbrook that is active has half the amount of triple doubles he does. I think we can all agree it’s harder to average 3 stats at an elite level than it is to shoot a fucking three

You have a lot of new players shooting better and better , but the numbers are not even comparable
Look at Trae young which people named as a new Steph
His % are way worse .
Both difficult tho , but now you can grab more boards and assists than ever .
Long 3s boards , and more space to pass to better shooter and easier layups ( rockets system d antoni ) and taller players are getting more skilledI can’t do a good preview on this
both too difficult to do , but imagine if Jokic , Lebron , Luka or harden decide to pad stats -
I just think there are more players coming into the league these days of the triple double mold (Jokic, Luka, hell even Giddey) then there are of Steph's caliber of shooting
