if we get a lot of activity on this thread I'll be surprised, but for those of us who are paying attention, it's probably because of Tiger.
T-10 after his first round (pending some finishes) is pretty damn good considering we didn't know if he'd have both limbs a year ago.

Thought I was the only one. Tiger has been an absolute miracle. Hoping he keeps the success coming this week.
As for the top of the board, interested to see Sungjae Im at the top. He plays well here, got a chance to win it all.

Don't know nor personally concern myself too much with Golf.
But I'll just say that as someone who suffered a similar injury as a teenager (fib and tib fractures) which needed pins, plates and rods to repair and landed me in a wheelchair for the better part of a year and a boot and crutches for quite a time after, it's pretty remarkable to see Tiger competing at the highest level so quickly.
Hats off to him in that regard, as I'm sure his PT was even more arduous than mine was, given his age and the severity of the injury.

If it’s a blowout yea even I can’t watch. Been a sport loved by the family for years though… just tradition.

I love watching golf mainly because as somebody who plays it often and has for so long, I enjoy looking at how professionals play the game. I find it extremely impressive and try and work on my game to push it to the next level.

Love this comment. I think we all feel that way at some point in our lives, especially with this sport. Stunned at how a guy like Bernhard Langer, who is 64 (!!!), can still dominate. In awe of his game and his fitness

@luckykid I play golf a lot. My version of golf is a little different than the pros though. My version involves sitting in a cart smashing beers and watching my buddies harass the cart girl every 4 holes. Honestly I don’t know how they put up with that shit.

"lanes" close to where i live, just tried it out a couple of times before everything got locked down again. you should try it out if you have the chance too its fun -
Watch out for 2020 champion Dustin Johnson. Man is ready to win again, hasn’t won a tourney since his first Masters W in November of that year

Golf is the hardest sport I ever played. I played for a few years and then broke my hand and took a year off and never got back into it.
