With the 24th pick in the 2022 draft the Milwaukee Bucks select Blake Wesley out of Notre Dame
I have problems with the Bucks guard rotation and this playoffs proved that George Hill and Grayson Allen are not it. Wesley is a 6'5 athletic PG/SG with 2 way potential. I actually view him in the Jrue Holiday mold and think that Jrue would be the perfect player for him to learn from to maximize his potential. @SG24 what do you think?
@zackdesenfants you're up

With the 26th pick the Dallas Mavericks select...Kendall Brown
All season the Mavs have needed a big man that can just rebound well and play some interior defense. Powell & Maxi held it down all year but neither are really a tough brute force so going with the 6'8 Brown is a questionable move. As mentioned before, he is 6-8 so he has great size, & almost any team would love another athletic wing that can defend.
@BEASTMODER34 is next with the 27th pick.
Sorry for the late response btw. Got a new phone and had to go through all that shit.

With the 27th pick the Miami Heat select…Kennedy Chandler — Guard from Tennessee
Chandler is a 6’0” tall lighting quick Point Guard. With Kyle Lowry aging and consistently injured, Tyler Herro’s future up in the air, and Victor Oladipo probably on the move the Heat need a backup point guard. Gabe Vincent was good for them but an upgrade would be great. He is an improving 3 point shooter who should fit into the Heat culture seamlessly. Great at getting to the rim and finishing and is also a great playmaker. Very athletic and loves jumping passing lanes. Can also play off the ball if needed so he can fit alongside Jimmy Butler. Not a great free throw shooter.
@QuantumKat is on the clock

With the 28th pick in the NBA Draft the Golden State Warriors select... Jaylin Williams the 6'10" PF/C from the University of Arkansas.
Obviously the Warriors are in desperate need of a big man who can defend the paint while having the potential to stretch the floor. Jaylin Williams fits the bill. Great rebounding stats. Decent shot blocking. Flashes of showing a decent shooting touch. Wiseman remains a project after 2 years. Time for a backup plan.

@Shinostique you got the grizzlies at 29 before @YOSEMITE_HAM finishes this draft at 30 for the Nuggets

Now before I’m going to say who Memphis picks here, lemme say before today I was going to pick Ismael Kamagate for OKC’s 30th pick.
Unfortunately for me the trade changed that.
So here for Memphis I’m not sure what they exactly go for here but since he’s available, I’ll pick him.
I’ll go with Jake LaRavia here. LaRavia seems to be the typical “role” player Memphis likes to go for in the past couple of years.
He’s a solid defender (seems to be his strength is mainly guarding 3’s and 4’s though), decent shooter (38.4% from 3 but with low volume), and might have some playmaking ability.
LaRavia is actually one of the prospects I haven’t checked too much into, but from what I’m hearing and seen in about an 30mins of film, I’d say he’s the guy Memphis picks here based on his skill set.
@YOSEMITE_HAM you have the final pick of the 1st Round.

With the 30th pick in the 2022 draft the Nuggets select Bryce Mcgowens out of Nebraska.
Now 2 guys I originally had in my sights here were Christian Braun and Jake Laravia. But since Ousmane Dieng fell to the Nuggets at 21 earlier I'm taking more of a guard to avoid position cluster. Bryce is a 6'7 combo guard and is fearless going to the basket. Loves contact. His free throw rate is insane. Footwork is extremely advanced at the rim on his drives. He's a 3 level scorer at 19 years old. I think he has one of the highest ceilings out of all the guys in the second half of the first round. Don't even have to squint very hard to see him averaging 20+ ppg in the league someday. Has some effort issues defensively that may be improved upon from better coaching and less responsibility on the offensive end.

@beastmoder34 is this pick made on behalf of the Utah Jazz?
-
Who do y’all think the best prospects left are? Pacers have pick 31 and I kinda lost track of who was picked
-
-
@zackdesenfants Max Christie. Biased for sure because he’s from my hometown and I’ve met him and still talk to him, but this kid has put in all the work and is dedicated to being a successful NBA player. And he’s a pacers fan!
-
Should we host a 2nd Round Community Mock Draft?
-
@shinostique I’m all for it
-
I don’t really know anybody in the second rounds lol

Do they have the rights to our pick?
